What is this form?

This is an interactive Online Request Form, so you can give us all the information we need to get your promotion off the ground.

The Request Form will ask you to fill out your promotion details, and select the work you would like us to do, and you can also submit materials (such as draft terms and conditions and/or artwork for us).

IMPORTANT: This request form is only needed for a game of chance. For other types of promotions different processes apply.

Please note that this Request Form is not a permit application itself. If needed, we will prepare and lodge these on your behalf once you submit the Request Form.

Do I need to complete everything now?

Please complete as much information as you can, as if you leave out important information we will need to confirm these with you before we can finalise your terms and conditions, and before we can lodge your permit applications.

You can still submit your Request Form to us but we will need this to progress your application. Even better though, you can save and come back to the Request Form at any time if you need to collect more details before you submit.

Costs?

We usually need to see your completed Request Form before we can provide a definitive cost estimate as this will depend on the details of the promotion.

Timings?

You will have an opportunity in the Request Form to advise us on your proposed time frames.

We will do our utmost best to meet your time frames, however, please note you will need to allow time for us to prepare and submit your application, and after this for the Departments to issue permits.

The time frames for receiving the permits will depend on the circumstances, including how busy the Departments are, the prize pool, the complexity of the promotion, and most importantly which Departments you require the permits from.

Generally speaking, the NSW & ACT Departments issue permits quicker than the VIC and SA Departments, although this can vary.

Please be wary of businesses that guarantee that you’ll receive permits in a certain time frame, as it is the Departments that ultimately determine when a permit is issued.
