Tony Anisimoff graduated from Sydney University in 1979 and has practiced continuously as a commercial and intellectual property lawyer since that time. Prior to establishing Anisimoff Legal, Tony worked with two major law firms and as an in-house counsel for a major advertising agency.

Heidi Bruce graduated with Honours from University of Technology, Sydney in 1997 and has a Masters of Law (Media, Communications and I.T. specialization) from University of NSW. Heidi commenced employment with Anisimoff Legal in August 1999 and is now a Principal.

With over ten years of experience in advertising and marketing law, Heidi has specialist expertise in all legal issues faced by the industry. Heidi advises in all aspects of advertising and marketing law, including intellectual property, trade practices, licensing, contracts, advertising review, ASB complaints, codes of practice, commercial and government dispute resolution, commercial and financial matters, packaging and privacy law.

James Barker graduated from the Australian National University with a combined Arts/Law degree in 1998 and was admitted in 2001. James commenced employment at Anisimoff Legal in 2001 and is now a Principal.

James advises in all aspects of advertising and marketing law, including trade promotion lotteries and other marketing offers and consumer incentives, trade practices, intellectual property, privacy, and contracts.

Matt graduated from Macquarie University in 2005 with a combined Law/Media degree. He was admitted to practice in the legal profession in 2006 and commenced employment at Anisimoff Legal in 2006.

Matt advises in advertising and marketing law. His key areas of expertise include trade promotion lotteries, intellectual property, advertising clearance, Advertising Standards Board complaints and contracts.

Leanne graduated from the University of Technology, Sydney in 2008 with a combined Bachelor of Business degree (majoring in Advertising and Promotions Management) and Bachelor of Laws degree with First Class Honours. Leanne commenced work at Anisimoff Legal in November 2010, following three years working at an international law firm in commercial dispute resolution.

Leanne advises in advertising and marketing law. Her key areas of expertise include intellectual property, advertising clearance, contracts, packaging and other aspects of advertising law.

Shannon graduated from the University of New South Wales with a Bachelor of Arts (Media & Communications) in 2006, with a double major in English and Media. She then completed a Bachelor of Laws also at the University of New South Wales.

Shannon was admitted to the legal profession in 2010 and commenced employment at Anisimoff Legal in 2011. Shannon’s practice areas include promotions, marketing offers and consumer incentives and other aspects of advertising and marketing law.

Clint graduated from Deakin University in Melbourne in 2005 with degrees in both Law and Commerce. Clint joined Anisimoff Legal in 2005 before completing his articled clerkship with the firm and being admitted to the legal profession.

Clint advises in regards to all manner of advertising and marketing law issues, specifically copyright, trade marks and other intellectual property matters, but also in relation to trade practices, agreements and contracts, and advertising clearance.

Scott graduated from La Trobe University in 2003 with a Law/Arts degree. Scott started with Anisimoff Legal as a promotions assistant in 2004, before commencing his articles with the firm the following year. He was admitted to the legal profession in 2007.

While Scott primarily advises on intellectual property matters, including trade marks and copyright, and on promotional lotteries, offers and incentive schemes, he also advises on other areas of advertising and marketing law, including trade practices, agreements, privacy issues and charitable fundraising.

Emma Tiberi graduated from LaTrobe University with a combined Legal Studies/Law degree in 2006 and commenced employment with Anisimoff Legal in January 2007. After completing her Articles with Anisimoff Legal, Emma was admitted to practice in 2009. Emma advises specifically in trade promotion lotteries and other marketing offers and consumer incentives, trade practices and intellectual property.

Amela graduated with Honours from Victoria University of Technology in 2008 with a Bachelor of Laws degree and commenced employment with Anisimoff Legal in 2009.

Since being admitted to the legal profession in 2011, Amela has specialised in the law relating to trade promotion lotteries, marketing offers, consumer incentives and competitions, as well as advising more generally in relation to privacy and other matters related to advertising and marketing law.

Sharmila graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2009 with a combined Law/Science degree. She commenced employment at Anisimoff Legal in March 2009 and was admitted to the legal profession in 2011.

Sharmila advises predominately in relation to trade promotion lotteries and other marketing offers and consumer incentives.
